Core modules included in QPS Classic
QuarkDispatch
QuarkDispatch® is the database server component at the heart of QPS Classic that keeps track of all the files in your system. It manages and maintains information about your unique environment, including metadata, workflow, preferences, users, privileges, versions, and revisions.
- Map the specific details unique to your workgroup
Define project, job, and publication types; specific workflows; rules for automatic file routing, style, and formatting preferences; and version and revision requirements. - Maintain searchable metadata for every file
See important information such as due date and time, file type, creator, route to, word count, checked-out duration, who has checked out the file, and up-to-the-minute status. Everything is searchable so that finding files is easy. You can even save searches (queries) for easy access and re-use. - Automate file and job routing
Ensure that files, projects, jobs, and publications move through a specific, predefined status-driven workflow. The system immediately sends a notification of anything routed or assigned to you and lists all assignments in a customizable personal workspace palette. - Track a wealth of information
Generate accurate scheduling, production, licensing, and billing reports.
